Perfectly described as "wild like a West Texas wind", Emily was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, and is probably the proudest Texan you have ever met. Fourteen years ago, she left the tumbleweeds behind and moved to the bright lights of Nashville to pursue a music career. After seven years in a law firm, she began a career in the mortgage industry. She quickly learned that once you start a job in mortgage, you never want to leave! Five years after working in secondary marketing, Emily decided it was time to try her hand as a loan officer. Emily's strength is connecting with people, and she deeply feels the importance of buying a home - both financially and emotionally. She puts a strong emphasis on making each client feel like they are the only client she has, and she does that by making herself available for calls and texts seven days a week! Emily's empathy is described by her as a blessing and a curse! She genuinely wants to help everyone achieve home ownership and have the smoothest experience when obtaining their mortgage. She works tirelessly to ensure the greatest experience and is fulfilled by her relationships with her clients. When she is not focusing on mortgages, Emily loves spending time with her teenage son, the light of her life, and their annoyingly precious dog, Penny. Emily still loves to sing and play the guitar and is able to do so with the worship team at her church. She visits her family often in Texas (and if you talk to her for more than five minutes, she will tell you all about them!). She loves college football, making cake balls and is passionate about her time in charities supporting foster children and anti-human trafficking.
