This brewery started in February 2016 and has one of the best selections of craft beers in Tennessee. Southern Grist Brewing Co. has 11 drafts and two tap rooms; East Nashville and the Nations.

Yazoo Brewery

This brewery has produced beers since 2003. Although Yazoo's options change daily, old reliables such as Hop Perfect IPA, Pale Ale, and Dos Perros are always on tap. It offers seasonal selections and has a sizable taproom along with an outdoor patio. Furthermore, the company allows patrons to tour the beer production plant on Saturdays. Book a ticket online. Established in 2012, Fat Bottom Brewing opened its doors in East Nashville before expanding to Nations in West Nashville in early 2017. Fat Bottom Brewing produces inventive beers following globally acclaimed recipes. From a smoked pumpkin porter and prickly pear Saison to a bourbon barrel-aged oatmeal stout. Apart from the beers, Fat Bottom offers dishes such as burgers and small bites like crab cakes and wings. The brewery has a play area for kids, a patio, and a beer garden.

The Black Abbey Brewing Co.

Opened in 2011, the Black Abbey Brewing Company is located in Berry Hill and serves a variety of Belgian-style beers. It has a tap room known to patrons as the Fellowship Hall, which adorns handmade farmhouse tables. Their house brews include Tennessee IPA, Crossroads, The Rose, and Forty-Four porter.

Jackalope Brewing Company

This brewery was founded in 2011 by two friends. This location, known as "the ranch" has two tap rooms, a dog-friendly patio, and the most recognizable artistry beer can designs. This craft brewery was the first in Nashville to can its beer. Jackalope's slogan is "drink legendary," for they prepare legendary beers for legendary folks. Although Jackalope offers no food, a food truck is within walking distance and live music is, of course, a regular occurrence.

Bearded Iris Brewing

Bearded Iris produces fresh unfiltered beer and serves crafted beers, including Moon Dust and DDH IPAs. Bearded Iris Brewing opened in 2016 and has two tap rooms. The original taproom is at the brewery, while the newest is at Sylvan.

Little Harpeth Brewing Company

Since its inception in 2014, this lager-centric brewery has won several awards, including Deer Crossing Lager - Gold Medal, The Great American Beer Festival 2018, and Sneaky Goat MaiBock-Gold Medal. The brewery has a considerable production of traditional German lagers, in line with the pre-prohibition Middle Tennessean brews. Blackstone Brewing Company

Blackstone Brewing Company is one of the oldest breweries in the city and has won several medals in the Great American beer festival. Established in 1994, the brewery has an automated 30-barrel brewhouse and bottling line. It has 16 beers on tap. A retrofitted kitchen in a 1989 Ford school bus serves burgers, fries, fish and chips, and an artichoke dip among its specials.
